Mothers' Union is a worldwide organization and has 4 million members.

At branch level we aim to support by prayer and fund raising the Overseas Fund.

This is used to support workers in underdeveloped countries to create a literacy programme.

This enables families to support themselves and to get jobs.

Mothers Union Relief Fund

The Relief Fund, which we also support mainly by fund raising,

 is used when a disaster occurs anywhere in the world.

Money can be sent immediately to Mothers’ Union workers in that area,

to provide practical help straight away.

The Mary Sumner Prayer

(Written in 1876 by Mothers' Union founder, Mary Sumner.)

All this day, O Lord, let me touch as many lives as possible for thee;
and every life I touch, do thou by thy spirit quicken,
whether through the word I speak, the prayer I breathe,
or the life I live.

Amen.

We welcome visitors. If you are here on holiday or live here and would like to come to a meeting please ring
